Not fun...

We have all come down with the flu! It all started with Tyler again...he just got over this 12 hour thing and then a couple days ago he has a 104 degree fever. The rest of us felt fine until later that night I started to feel like crap. The next day I was completely out of it in bed. Then Dave came home early from the office because he was feeling sick. Ashlynn was still ok at this point. It is so pathetic...our kids have been doing nothing but sitting in front of the t.v. watching cartoons all day. Today, Ashlynn started getting it and fell asleep on the floor, poor thing! I moved her to her bed and she slept for 4 hours! Dave is back at the office and trying to keep it together. My mom rescued me today and went to Walgreens for me for more medicine. Thank you Mom so much!!! I had no energy in me to get us all dressed and go the the store. She dropped off the stuff on the porch and then called me to tell me it was there. I wasn't about to open the door and have our crazy germs get her. Hopefully this will all go away really soon and we can get back to normal! Yuk!!!!!

See ya later diapers!!

Finally....something has finally clicked in Ashlynn's little head! I started to potty train her a couple months ago and it just wasn't working. She loved to sit on the potty but nothing would come out. For Christmas we gave her a dolly that went potty. I wanted her to see where it was supposed to come out of so she could understand better. I pretty much gave up at that point and just figured it would happen sometime. My sister was watching her for me the other day and she called me on the phone. She said Ashlynn had something to tell me. Ashlynn get's on and tells me that she just went poo-poo on the potty! I guess she was in there with my niece and she wanted to do it too. But something actually came out this time! I was shocked and so happy! Ever since then she has been going a few times a day in the toilet and still a little in her diaper. This week I am really going to crack down on this and get her trained! Hooray Hooray!

Later diapers...helloooooooooo panties!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy "LOVE" day everyone!!!! Hope you are all able to spend this day with the one that you love and hold dear. Dave and I are going to have to celebrate from home today due to sick kids. Hopefully we can go out another time and celebrate. Poor Tyler woke up around midnight and started throwing up and kept at it every 20-30 minutes until 10 this morning. We felt so bad for him! He is doing better now but I kept him home from school to rest. He was pretty sad about that because he is missing his Valentine party at school. His teacher is going to collect his Valentine's for him. Oh well, what can you do?
Hope you all have a wonderful and special day!!!!
I love you Dave!!

New job

I'm so excited...I just got a part-time job at Aeropostale!!!!! I have been looking for something to do to just help out a little bit while we are getting the practice up and going. I really didn't know what I was looking for. First I was trying to find something to do from home and most of them are scams. I knew I needed something at night so that Dave can be home with the kids. I feel like this position literally fell right into my lap. I was at a mall last week that I am never at. I had to return something. I was on my way out and walked by this store and decided to go in real quick because I love this store. I had this thought to ask the manager if they had any night time openings. He happened to be a manager for another store for the new outdoor mall here in Gilbert in San Tan and was filling in there for the day. Just so happens that he has been looking for someone part time to work 5-10 hours per week at night. I was so excited!!!! So I took home an application and talked with Dave and everything sounded good. The next day I went and dropped off my info and waited for them to get back to me for an interview. I felt like I was waiting for ever! I went in last night to interview and it went so well! This just seemed like the perfect fit for both of us. I really wanted to work Thursdays because Dave doesn't see patients on that day. Can you believe it they needed someone to work Thursdays! They called me this morning and want me to start next week! So things are good and I can't wait to get started. Yipee!!!! I think this can be something I have for a while because it's not a lot of hours and they are extremely flexible. I will get a night to myself to where I feel like I am helping a little and I get a good discount too...that's always great!

See you in 2 years Matt!

Monday night was the last night that my family all got together before Matt left for his mission. We just hung out for a little bit and had dinner together. The big suprise of the evening was Lindsey announcing that she is having TWINS!!!!!!!! We all about died! There are so many exciting things going on with my family and we are all just so happy!

Swing batta batta swing!

Last Saturday my niece Payton had her birthday party over where Adria lives. Tifani cooked the most yummy food and it was another gorgeous day outside! Some of us were actually saying it was hot if you can believe that. It was a perfect day for a PARTY!

Play Day

My sisters and I went to this park in Tempe that has a Merry Go Round and Train ride. It also had really nice playground equipment to play on. Plus it was a GORGREOUS day and we were loving the sun and being outside! I have really loved having Tifani here for so long and hanging out with all my sisters. I'm so glad I have so many and I'm grateful for each of them!

Proud Moment

A couple weeks ago Tyler recieved and Award from his principle at school! He had no idea that he was getting this...it was a total suprise. Each grade has 3 different awards that are given out and the teachers get to pick who they think should recieve it. Out of 4 Kindergarten classes Tyler was 1 of 3 kids that were chosen. Miss Power chose him to get the "Fairness Award". He is always kind and accepting of everyone around him. Miss Power told me when to be at the school to watch the principle give this to Ty. I show up with my mom, my sister and her kids and my brother. Ty just thought that we came to say hi and hang out and he thought he was pretty cool too! It was so fun to watch him and it made me so happy and proud! I will have to make sure to remember this day when he is a teenager and I'm not having a happy/proud moment! Good job Ty!

Missing Friends

I haven't posted anything for a few weeks...I have a lot to catch up on! Tyler was watching a cartoon a few weeks ago and it was talking about writing letters. He was learning that you could write a letter and put it in the mailbox and it would be sent to your friends. So he came to me and was really wanting to write some of his friends a letter and picture. He was so excited and tried really hard to do it himself. I had to help him with the people a little bit but he did pretty good!
