Weekend Getaway

The Point at South Mountain

Can you believe this?! Dave and I actually got away
together for the weekend without the KIDS! My
sisters best friend totally hooked us up at this resort.
It was so GREAT! My sister Adria and her husband
Mark watched the kids for one night. Then our good
friends Scott and Shauna Brown watched them
the second night. Everything went pretty well
with the kids...I think! Ty had a couple accidents
with Shauna and he tried so hard to clean it
up himself and that didn't quite work. I swear, all
the times to have him crap in his pants! He
hasn't had an accident like that for a couple
years...seriously! Thank you for being so
patient with him Shauna. It was hard for me
to relax and not worry about them. By the
second day I was doing much better and
thought..."I can get used to this!" But then
the honeymoon had to come to an end and we
had to pack up and get the kids. We had a
wonderful time and really enjoyed getting away.
We are so grateful for Adria & Mark and
Scott & Shauna for being so sweet and taking
care of our kids...THANK YOU!!

Campbell or Johnson?

Well the votes are in...our kids are more Johnson than

Campbell. Sorry babe! Ashlynn was really close but didn't quite
make it. I copied my brother in law Jake, he did this on their
blog and I thought it was cute. I think I might do a celebrity
one of Dave and I next just for kicks and giggles!

He's finally Home!

The kids and I had fun getting ready for Dave to come home!
We decorated posters and blew up balloons. It was fun!



Ashlynn tried so hard to blow up her balloons but
didn't get very far...she was so cute!

Dave walked in the door with this huge bouquet of roses!
What a sweet surprise and a way to get to my heart!

We are finally all back together! 4 long weeks apart & 1
more 1600 mile drive back for Dave. It was a long wait but
we made it. Today was a great day!

Sleeping in the Car

I have been trying to figure out how to upload our videos on our blog for a LONG time now! I'm not quite sure when the little video icon was added next to the picture icon...who knows, it has probably been there the entire time and I'm just a retard! I have been wanting to share this little video of Tyler ever since we moved back to Arizona. We were on our trip back and both of the kids were out like a light. My sister saw them falling all over the place and we had to catch it on video. I am so excited that I can do this now...this is so much fun! Hope you get a good laugh!
