Happy Birthday Tyler!!!

You might be thinking..."I swear she just posted this same thing a few days ago". You are right, I did. I know, I know...how did these kids birthdays happen in the same week? I ask myself that too, believe me I do! I really wanted these kids 3 years apart from each other and I got exactly that. We weren't expecting to have Ashlynn so quickly, but we did and now here we are. Let's just say that Tyler got a new baby sister for his 3rd birthday and a hostess cupcake with a candle on top. Every year since then we have been doing a combined party for the both of them because that is easier...so I thought. This year for some reason I decided to do two separate combined parties...a family party...and a friends party. A little crazier I know but that is how we seem to end up doing things. We had the family party on Monday and we are having the other one on Saturday. Plus Tyler celebrated his birthday at school on Monday and his last day of school was on Thursday. Today being Tyler's actual birthday I was thinking this morning about how much stuff I had to get done today for the party tomorrow. Even though he has had a pretty eventful week so far, I didn't want to spend his day running around like a chicken doing errands. Instead I get this idea to go to Chuck E Cheese and put off my list of things to do. I had this crazy good coupon...I called my friend Shauna and a couple hours later we were off! We got there and what do we end up doing anyway? Running around like chickens chasing our little chicks that are so excited and seriously about to lose their minds! But they were having fun and that is what mattered. So we will continue our week of fun tomorrow and I will be so grateful when Sunday is here!

I can't believe that my first born is 6 years old, that makes me feel really old for some reason! We are so grateful for Ty and really feel so blessed that he is a part of our family. He is such a sweet and kind kid and is every ones friend. This morning I was telling Tyler the story of him being born. He was so excited to hear about it and then Ashlynn wanted to hear about her birth story. Dave and I were both so nervous and had no idea what to expect with Tyler. He came a couple weeks early and we were not ready at all. I was telling Tyler how many people came to see him in the hospital, my room was seriously overflowing at times. I loved where we were when we had Tyler...in Provo on 500 West. We were surrounded by so many loved ones. Tyler has been through a lot in his little life, we have moved him 3 times since he's been born. Not little moves, serious big moves to different parts of the country and he has been a trooper! We really are blessed, he is a wonderful son and such a special little boy! We love you Ty~Happy Birthday!!!

Just to warn you I will be posting a bunch more things probably next week. Ashlynn had her ballet/tap recital...Ty had his Kindergarten play...family bday party...friend bday party...maybe Chuck E Cheese. So don't be a stranger for too long you hear! And yes, Tyler is standing next to an Elvis impersonator. We took the kids to a concert when we were living in the south last summer, it was so fun! To this day if there is an Elvis song playing somewhere, my kids know exactly who it is and are proud to yell..."mom it's Elvis!!!"

Happy Birthday Ashlynn!!!

I can't believe that 3 years ago today I had my sweet little daughter! Boy has time just blown by so fast. I swear I can still feel the fire from giving birth to her like it was yesterday! I still to this day don't know what got into me when I decided to have her natural. But after that was all over the sweetest gift was holding our little girl...ever since then she has just been our little princess...even her daddy can't put a stop to all that girly stuff...and we love all of it! Every pair of princess shoes, baby dolls, purses, lip gloss, lotions, flip flops, you name it she loves it. She has been so much fun and we just love her to pieces! Granted she does have her moments and can be a little pistol at times...but we wouldn't trade her for the world! Happy Birthday Sweet Pea!!!

New pics by Linds

A couple weeks ago I had my extremely talented sister Lindsey take new pictures of my kids. I love that fact that we have a photographer in the family! She does such a good job and I never worry about them turning out good or not. She is amazing at what she does & I'm so grateful that she was able to do this for us!!

Thank you Linds!
